Over the last 100 years, the kindness of Lions and Leos has multiplied across borders, oceans, and continents. With over 1.4 million members, we now have an opportunity to truly change our world.
That’s why we’re uniting our global service around five areas of need. These Global Causes present significant challenges to humanity, and we believe it’s our turn to meet them.

Peace Poster

Every year the Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest gives local students the opportunity to express their ideas of peace through creative artwork. At the Canton Lions Club, we sponsor this contest as a way to engage young people in our community and promote a message of unity and understanding.​​

Star Student

​We proudly partner with the PAGE STAR Student Program to recognize academic excellence among local high-school seniors. Each year, we help highlight the achievements of the top-performing student and the teacher who inspired them most.​

Eyeglass Collections

Our club collects used eyeglasses year-round to support Lions Clubs International’s vision-care mission. Donated glasses are cleaned, sorted, and sent to Lions recycling centers to help individuals in need around the world.​

Shop with a cop

​Each year, our Lions Club partners with local law enforcement to brighten the holidays for children in need through the Shop With a Cop program. Together, we help provide gifts, essentials, and an uplifting experience that these families may not otherwise receive.​
